The IRA Charitable Rollover is Permanent

The IRA charitable rollover legislation passed by Congress and signed by the President has made the IRA charitable rollover permanent.

To take advantage of this legislation, you may arrange a direct transfer from your IRA to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children to count against your required annual minimum distribution. To qualify, the IRA owner must be age 70½ or older; the annual limit is $100,000. Donor-advised funds and supporting organizations are not eligible.
