TopGolf to Host Kick-off Party for KidSwing All-kids Golf Tournament

WHAT:
TopGolf will host a kick-off party for all registered KidSwing golf tournament participants. Registered players will have the opportunity to practice at TopGolf, free of charge, in preparation for the upcoming tournament. Comprised of 20 members, the Kids Steering Committee is a mix of TSRHC friends including current and former TSRHC patients. This group is vital to the tournament and meets several times a year in an effort to organize and inspire more than 350 KidSwing participants to raise money for the hospital.
TopGolf, an all-weather facility, is new to Dallas and is a revolutionary, state-of-the-art facility suited for golfers of any skill level. The two other TopGolf facilities currently operating in the United States are in Wood Dale, Ill. and Kingstowne, Va.

ABOUT KIDSWING:
The KidSwing Golf Tournament was founded in 2003 by former Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) patient Ben Sater and his mother, Kim. KidSwing is a best-ball scramble for players ages 7 to 18. To date, KidSwing has donated nearly $500,000 to TSRHC. Funds raised through the 2008 tournament will benefit the hospital.
