Medical Records – Radiology Transcriptionist
This position transcribes and prints radiology reports and all other medical reports, letters and other recorded data, including operative reports, discharge summaries, patient history and examinations, clinic reports, using central dictation system, transcribing equipment and word processing equipment. High school diploma or equivalent; Must have completed a formal course of medical transcription or have three years of practical experience in medical transcription. Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) preferred. Demonstrates the ability to utilize word processing equipment and ability to transcribe medical reports accurately; minimum typing speed of 60 wpm; expected productivity after training period is 125 lines per hour for non-radiology reports, 113 lines per hour for radiology reports. Knowledge of medical terminology, excellent spelling skills and ability to use reference materials effectively and knowledge of proper English grammar. Tues. – Sat., Day shift. Submit your resume
