Olympic Gold Medalist Rowdy Gaines to Visit Patients at
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

Three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Swimmer Rowdy Gaines
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) patients, families and staff

WHAT:
Rowdy will visit the hospital in conjunction with the Rowdy’s Kidz program, a wellness initiative focused on helping America’s youth create healthier lifestyles and more confident futures, to spend time with patients, take pictures and sign autographs. Rowdy is executive director of Rowdy’s Kidz.

ABOUT ROWDY'S KIDZ:
The Rowdy’s Kidz program was created to help children better understand the value of having an active lifestyle, healthier nutritional choices and the positive can-do attitude that champions share. Through school visits and presentations, free swim clinics, online tools, regular communication directly with kids and a host of other planned events and activities, Rowdy’s Kidz reaches all children with a message based on creating brighter futures for them and with them, as they become champions in life.

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation's leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. There is no charge to patient families for treatment at the hospital, and admission is open to Texas children from birth to 18 years of age.
