Inpatient Nursing – Clinical Manager       
The Clinical Manager is a registered nurse who collaborates with nursing leadership to establish, define and refine department goals on the inpatient nursing unit consistent with organizational mission and goals. This position coordinates and controls staffing to assure adherence to nursing standards and effectively communicates and promotes nursing unit policies to ensure quality patient care and an optimal work environment. The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, hold a current Texas RN license or be eligible for reciprocity and hold a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing. Pediatric and orthopedic experience preferred. CPR and PALS certifications required. 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Days.  Submit your resume 
 

Inpatient Nursing – Registered Nurse  
Primary duties include prescribing, delegating and coordinating nursing care provided on a pediatric unit. Our hospital cares for infant through adolescent-aged children with medical, surgical, orthopedic or neurological conditions. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, hold a current TX RN license and a CPR certification. Pediatric nursing experience preferred. PT and PRN positions available (12 shifts).

Inpatient Nursing – Nurse Tech  
Assists in direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LVN who cares for infant through adolescent-aged children. Also assists patients with activities of daily living and maintaining a safe, clean and therapeutic environment. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and have successfully completed a pediatric rotation. PRN positions available. Submit your resume

Child Life – Lead Child Life Specialist      
Performs all of the duties of a Certified Child Life Specialist with additional responsibilities including coordinating daily departmental operations. Bachelor’s degree with major academic background in Child Life, Child Development, Human and Family Studies, Psychology, or closely related field required. Certification in accordance with standards and guidelines of the Child Life Council is required. Individual must have experience in working with ill, hospitalized and/or special needs infants, children and adolescents, including their families. CPR certification for infants, children and adults, or potential for certification required. A minimum of five years of experience as Child Life Specialist is required. Mon. - Fri., Day Shift with occasional Saturdays.

Child Life Specialist       
This position is responsible for working closely with families and the healthcare team to minimize the stress of hospitalization, separation, illness/injury and medical encounters of children from birth to 18 years of age, while providing family-centered care. A bachelor's degree with major academic background in child life, child development, human and family studies, psychology or closely related field is required. Individuals must be certified in accordance with standards and guidelines of the Child Life Council. Individuals must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in working with ill, hospitalized and/or special needs infants, children and adolescents, including their families. Sterile Processing Technician      
This position accurately and completely performs all necessary tasks for proper cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, packaging, sterilizing, storing and issuing of surgical instruments, surgical implants and patient care equipment by complying with established department policies and procedures. High school graduate or equivalent. Numerical and clerical ability required to assemble correct number of components on procedure and implant trays, to record issues and credits to implant inventory and to maintain accurate and complete records of sterilization. Conscientious with an eye for detail and cleanliness. Basic computer skills helpful. Sterile Processing or healthcare experience preferred. Mon - Fri, Evening Shift. Submit your resume

Orthopedic - Research Coordinator     
This position coordinates orthopedic research projects for the staff orthopedists, associated fellows and residents from study design to completion by assisting, monitoring, and supervising researchers in all phases of planning and implementation of research activities.   Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Texas RN licensure or other related Bachelor’s degree.  Strong knowledge of nursing processes, theory, standards and procedures.  Previous experience in a pediatric clinical setting preferred with effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Dental Clinic - Dental Assistant
This position assists with the delivery of dental care to pediatric patients from infancy to age 18 according to standards. Assures implementation of dental care plans and facilitates patient flow in clinic. The dental assistant should be able to interact and function well with special needs preschool, school-age and adolescent children and their families and adjust the care to a developmentally appropriate level. High school degree or equivalent with a minimum of one year experience as a dental assistant required. Associate's degree in dental assisting preferred.  Previous experience with children, especially children with special needs helpful. Mon. - Fri. PRN Days.
