Accomplished administrators deliver superior performance amid shifting health care environment

(DALLAS – July 13, 2012) — Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) today named four Senior Vice Presidents and promoted four other administrators, effective immediately. Robert L. Walker, President and CEO of TSRHC, said, “The hospital’s No. 1 priority is to provide the highest quality care to the patients we serve. These promotions reflect the commitment of these individuals to the hospital’s mission as well as their ability to provide support to the staff to ensure this goal is accomplished.”

Vice Presidents Mark G. Bateman (Public Relations), Lori L. Dalton (General Counsel), Sharon Ellis (Chief Financial Officer) and M. Scott Perryman (Revenue Cycle) were promoted to Senior Vice President. Assistant Administrators Jeremy Howell and Donald E. Katz were named, respectively, Vice President of Research and Vice President of Facilities & Process Design. Chief Nursing Officer Debbie Sayles was promoted to Vice President. Kyle Cavin, Assistant Director of Ambulatory Care, was named Assistant Administrator of Patient Services.

The advancements come at a time when the health care environment is changing rapidly, and the hospital is growing and changing as well. “What is not changing is our commitment to our core values and the way we deliver the best available care to our patients,” Walker said. “As we move forward, I am confident we have the leadership team in place to adapt and succeed in this environment of change while maintaining the tradition of compassionate care that is at the core of our mission.”
