WHAT: jcpenney will host a back-to-school style show for TSRHC spina bifida patients who are a part of TSRHC’s Successful Bridges Program. This event helps build self-esteem and independence for teens with the condition. This will be the fifth year for jcpenney to host the group as they model the latest fashions down the runway.

ABOUT SUCCESSFUL BRIDGES PROGRAM: Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children established the Successful Bridges Teen program for TSRHC patients 14-to-18-years-old with spina bifida. The overall goals of the program are to assist teens in building bridges to self-sufficiency and support families as their teens achieve developmental milestones. The program collaborates with community agencies to provide educational opportunities and guest speakers.
