COTTON PATCH CAFÉ LAUNCHES CHALLENGE TO BENEFIT LOCAL HOSPITAL
Cotton Patch Café matches contributions to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children with dining gift card
DALLAS (March 25, 2013) – Local casual dining chain, Cotton Patch Café, will, for the 5th consecutive year, match contributions to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) with a dining gift card through the Cotton Patch Cares program. The Cotton Patch Challenge runs from March 25 through May 12, 2013, and for every $25 gift to TSRHC made through the Challenge during that time, Cotton Patch Café will match the donation with a free $25 gift card (up to $1,000 per donor) for the donor.
Giving is simple. Visit www.tsrh.org or www.cottonpatch.com. All donations directly benefit children being treated at TSRHC, which is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopaedic conditions, such as scoliosis, clubfoot, limb length differences, hand and hip disorders, as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. Established in 1921, TSRHC treats Texas children from birth up to 18 years of age and provides treatment regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Since its inception, TSRHC has provided medical care for more than 218,000 children.
For the past seven years, Cotton Patch Café has chosen TSRHC as its primary philanthropic endeavor, raising more than $380,000 for the hospital.
“We’re thankful for the ongoing support from Cotton Patch Café and we are grateful that once again, they have elected to partner with the hospital for the Cotton Patch Café Challenge,” said Stephanie Brigger, vice president of development at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. “The Challenge is an innovative and fun way to further the message of both Cotton Patch Café and the hospital to the people of Texas. We value the relationship we have with them and could not do what we do at the hospital without the generosity of the community and events like this.”
“Being involved in community efforts is important to Cotton Patch Café and our employees. We’re proud to support the efforts of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and want to help make a difference for Texas families,” said Larry Marshall, President of Cotton Patch Café. The Cotton Patch Café brand started in 1989 in Nacogdoches, has grown to 41 locations throughout Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico, and is still Texas family owned today.
