Dallas, Texas (March, 2012) … Local casual dining chain, Cotton Patch Café, will, for the 4th consecutive year, match contributions to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) with a dining gift card through the Cotton Patch Cares program. From March 26 through May 13, for every $25 gift to TSRHC through the 2012 Cotton Patch Challenge, each person will receive a free $25 Cotton Patch Café gift card (up to $1,000 per donor).
Giving is simple. Log on to either: tsrhc.org or cottonpatch.com. All donations benefit the children being treated at TSRHC, which is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions such as scoliosis, clubfoot, limb length differences, hand and hip disorders, as well as certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. Established in 1921, TSRHC treats Texas children from birth up to 18 years of age and provides this treatment regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Since its inception, TSRHC has provided medical care for more than 210,000 children.
For the past six years, Cotton Patch Café has chosen TSRHC as their primary philanthropic endeavor, raising more than $275,000 for the hospital. “We’re thrilled that again this year the public can enjoy a delicious meal at Cotton Patch while supporting the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional care for children,” said Stephanie Brigger, vice president of Development at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. “We truly appreciate the long-standing support from Cotton Patch that allows us to continue serving the children of Texas and make their lives better and futures brighter.”
“Being involved in community efforts is important to Cotton Patch Café and our employees. We’re proud to support the efforts of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and want to help make a difference for Texas families,” said Larry Marshall, President of Cotton Patch Café. The Cotton Patch Café brand started in 1989 in Nacogdoches, has grown to 39 locations throughout Texas and New Mexico, and is still Texas family owned today.
