Junior Volunteer Program
The Bernice and Brudus Meyerson Junior Volunteer Program has been established to commemorate the couple’s love for volunteering and their devotion to TSRHC’s mission and their fellow volunteers.
The Bernice and Brudus Meyerson Junior Volunteer Program consists of TWO, five-week summer sessions that offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities throughout the hospital for students ages 14 to 17. Students will pick one of the two sessions to attend. For more information on how to apply, please visit our Becoming a Junior Volunteer page.
Junior Volunteers will:
Acquire real-life work experience in a variety of departments including clinics, nursing and child life.
Plan an annual fundraiser, the Junior Volunteer Book Sale, which raises money for the Legacy Scholarship Program which provides financial assistance to former patients for college or career training.
Gain a positive, character-building experience that will open doors to future college and career pursuits, while making a difference in children’s lives.
