Family Services
The Family Services department at TSRHC supports patients and their families while they’re receiving treatment at the hospital. Family Services includes three primary areas: Medical social work; the coordination of outside medical exams, tests and evaluations; and interpreting and translating.
Medical Social Work
- Psychosocial assessments
- Crisis intervention and referrals
- Community resource referrals
- Inpatient discharge planning assistance
- Durable medical equipment coordination
- Supportive counseling
- Temporary lodging assistance information and referrals
Any patient or family referral is accepted, as well as self-referrals.
Outside Medical Exams, Tests and Evaluations
- Patient and family interviews
- Insurance/funding assessments
- Referral coordination to outside facilities
All referrals must be made by TSRHC’s medical staff.
Interpreting and Translating
- Bilingual Spanish interpreting assistance in person and by telephone
- Coordination of on-site interpreting assistance for other languages and for hearing-impaired patients and families
- AT&T phone translation assistance
