Christi Carter Urschel Family Resource Center
The Christi Carter Urschel Family Resource Center (FRC) plays an important part in helping patient families understand the conditions facing them. The FRC provides helpful information and referrals to support groups related to specific medical conditions. We understand that families whose children are diagnosed with special needs have many questions, and the FRC can help you find answers.
Staff is available to assist patients and families in locating and coordinating information. The family resource center offers books, magazines, brochures, DVDs, videos, health-related databases and electronic media covering a variety of medical conditions. TSRHC patient families may check out items from the center for a three week period.
At the FRC, you’ll find the following helpful resources:

- Patient education materials – read more detailed information about your child’s medical condition.
- Recreation and leisure – learn how to participate in the activities you enjoy at home and in the community.
