WHAT:
Elite runners from around the world – competing in the Dallas White Rock Marathon presented by NexBank – will join DWRM board members, sponsors and special friends as they visit with TSRHC patients and hand out 2008 DWRM T-shirts.

Elite marathon runners, the Junior Race Director and TSRHC patient champions, who will represent the thousands of patients treated at the hospital, will sign autographs for guests..

DWRM INFORMATION:
Runners from around the world will gather in Dallas on Sunday, Dec. 14, for the full marathon, half marathon, 5-person relay and the SMU Cox Corporate Relay Challenge. Voted No. 1 Marathon and Half Marathon by Competitor Texas magazine, the Dallas White Rock Marathon features a scenic course that includes a flat and fast 10-mile loop around White Rock Lake, and is a qualifying event for the Boston Marathon. Race-day events are capped at 17,000 participants. More than 125,000 spectators are expected to line the streets of Dallas to cheer on the runners.
