Common Orthopedic Referrals

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children primarily treats Texas children with orthopedic conditions. Some common orthopedic referrals include:

  • Scoliosis
  • Clubfoot
  • Limb length discrepancy
  • Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE)
  • Spina bifida
  • Kyphosis
  • Dislocated hips
  • Legg-Perthes
  • Gait disturbance
  • Syndactyly (webbed fingers)
  • Congenital/traumatic limb difference
