In 1998, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children Trustees Dan Davidson and Graham Childress and some of their West Texas friends conceived the idea of creating a clay shoot for the benefit
of TSRHC. The shoot
helps to raise awareness of the hospital and reaches out to children in West Texas who may benefit from treatment at the hospital. Your support of the San Angelo Sporting Clay Shoot will help the hospital provide the best possible medical care to Texas children.
For almost 90 years, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children has treated approximately 800 children from Tom Green
and the eight surrounding counties. Since the clay shoot’s inception 13 years ago, more than 40 new patients from the West Texas community are currently receiving treatment at TSRHC.
Established in 1921, TSRHC has provided the finest medical care to nearly 200,000
children. The hospital depends on donations from individuals, corporations and foundations to provide care for children in your community and throughout Texas.
We are grateful to the many friends who have helped make the San Angelo Sporting Clay Shoot a success. Your support enables us to continue to improve thousands of children's lives across the state. If you have any questions about how to get involved in this year’s event, please call the Special Events department at (214) 559-7656 or (800) 421-1121, ext. 7656.
