10th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot Benefiting

Participate for Fourth Year

WHAT:
The 10th Annual San Angelo Sporting Clay Shoot benefiting TSRHC
. Members of the community, novice through professional shooters, are invited to participate in the clay shoot. This year’s event includes a complimentary lunch for participants, live music, silent and live auction and awards reception. Categories for the event include individual shooter and corporate sponsor team.

Saturday, October 13, 2007
7 a.m. Registration opens
8 a.m. Rotation one begins
11 a.m. Complimentary lunch for participants ($10 for non-participants)
11:30 a.m. Rotation two begins
3 p.m. Rotation three begins
6 p.m. Live music
7 p.m. Awards presentation and live auction begins

WHY:
Organized in 1998 by a group of individuals committed to assisting TSRHC, the San Angelo Sporting Clay Shoot raises awareness about the hospital and reaches out to families in West Texas who may benefit from treatment at TSRHC. Since its inception, the clay shoot has raised more than $270,000 for TSRHC.

ABOUT PRESTON PEREZ:
TSRHC patient Preston Perez, age 10, of Midland, Texas, has been a patient at TSRHC for five years. He is treated for cerebral palsy, a condition that affects muscle coordination and body movement. Preston enjoys baseball and takes tae kwon do. This will be the fourth year for Eddie Perez, Preston’s father, to participate in the clay shoot, which has become a family event and a way to give back to TSRHC.

HOSPITAL INFORMATION:
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation's leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. There is no charge to patient families for treatment at the hospital, and admission is open to Texas children from birth to 18 years of age.
