Dietary – Cook/ Lead Cafeteria Assistant

The Lead Cafeteria Assistant directs the cafeteria at breakfast and lunch. Assists with salad production. Relieves for the cafeteria cashier and breakfast cook during break periods. Prepares the breakfast specials. Works an assigned cafeteria position during lunch. Completes the patient tally. Directs the cafeteria operations at breakfast and lunch in coordination with the Food Service Manager. High school degree or equivalent required. Minimum one year experience in cafeteria or hospital food preparation required. Food sanitation knowledge required. Must have excellent communication skills and experience with customer service.
