Public Relations - Assistant Director

The Public Relations department works to raise awareness about the hospital and its mission through traditional media relations, publications, Web-based and social media communications. Additionally, the department creates opportunities and events to maintain support for the hospital through existing relationships with the general public, Masons and patient families as well as introduce new individuals and groups to TSRHC. The position assists the Senior Director of Communications by providing leadership, management and direction as needed for all staff within the Public Relations department. Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field required. A minimum of ten years experience in public relations and communications with management experience preferred. Candidate should possess excellent communication, media relations and organizational skills. Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
