This position is responsible for monthly and biweekly payroll processing for all hospital employees. Manages moderate to complex payroll functions that include account reconciliations, audit preparation, payroll interfaces to various hospital systems and reporting. Coordinates resolution of employee-related payroll inquires and issues that may arise. Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent required with five years of demonstrated knowledge of payroll production, reporting, accounting functions and benefit plan management preferred. Payroll management experience desired, preferably in a healthcare environment. Must have strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax filing requirements including payroll laws, regulations and current trends. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Working knowledge with Kronos and Lawson payroll systems strongly desired. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
