General Counsel – Contract Administrator/Risk Manager

Responsibilities of this position will include reviewing and negotiating terms and drafting agreements for a growing and dynamic Healthcare facility. Contracts include healthcare business issues, IT agreements, and various service and purchase agreements.  This position will also have responsibility for contract management and risk management efforts for the Hospital, including primary responsibility for the insurance program.  Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have strong interpersonal skills and take the initiative to address various issues to prioritize workload.  Qualified candidates must possess a Juris Doctor degree, be licensed by the State of Texas, and have a background in healthcare and related compliance matters.  Qualified candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.  This position reports to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
