This position accurately and completely performs all necessary tasks for proper cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, packaging, sterilizing, storing and issuing of surgical instruments, surgical implants and patient care equipment by complying with established department policies and procedures. High school graduate or equivalent. Numerical and clerical ability required to assemble correct number of components on procedure and implant trays, to record issues and credits to implant inventory and to maintain accurate and complete records of sterilization. Conscientious with an eye for detail and cleanliness. Basic computer skills helpful. Sterile Processing Certification with experience preferred. Mon - Fri, Noon - 8:30 pm.
