Shane Miller, M.D., F.A.A.P., C.A.Q.S.M.
Dr. Shane Miller is a staff physician in the Orthopedic Department at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. In 2001, Dr. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He then received his medical degree at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2005. Dr. Miller completed his internship in pediatrics and his residency in pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine in 2006 and 2008 respectively. In 2009, Dr. Miller then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Orthopedics and Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Miller is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Texas Pediatrics Society and the American Medical Athletic Association.
